The Town of Wickenburg is steadfast in its commitment to providing exceptional community spaces that enhance the quality of life for all residents. 

As our Community Center enters a new chapter in its history, we are undertaking a thoughtful approach to improvements and renovations that honor its legacy while ensuring it continues to meet the evolving needs of our community. These efforts are designed to create a welcoming, functional, and sustainable space that will serve and inspire residents for generations to come.

Our Current Facility

Located in the heart of downtown Wickenburg, the Community Center sits on a 4-acre property with approximately 10,000 square feet of indoor space. Constructed in the early 1970s, the facility has faithfully served our community for over five decades. However, that time has brought forth the need for significant repairs, equipment upgrades, and renovations to meet modern ADA and safety building codes.

This renovation approach would maintain the building’s current footprint and address necessary repairs, equipment upgrades, and ensure compliance with current building codes.

  • Correct structural deficiencies
    • Roof and trusses
  • Replace aging equipment
    • HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Remodeling will require compliance with current building and safety codes
    • ADA-compliant access and restrooms
    • New fire alarm and fire sprinkler systems
  • Maximize usable interior spaces
  • Exterior cosmetic and structural repairs

•11/25 – 1/26 Phase 1 Design Development (60%)

•2/26 – 4/26   Phase 2 Construction Documents (100%)

•4/26 – 5/26   Prepare and Approve Construction Contract (GMP)

•6/26 – 7/26   Caliente Issue Subcontractor Contracts and Mobilize

•8/26 – 4/27 Demo/Construction (9 – 10 months)
