Wickenburg Town Academy is a new program designed to give residents a better understanding of the Town of Wickenburg and how municipal government works. 

The academy is open to Wickenburg residents, Wickenburg business owners and employees. Participants must be at least 18 years of age to participate. The 10-week program will be limited to 25 participants. Participation in eight of the first nine educational sessions is necessary to graduate from the academy. Academy registrations are limited to allow participants to discuss issues, engage with presenters and participate in experiential activities.

Wickenburg Town Academy will feature an overview of Wickenburg local government, engaging demonstrations, and several facility tours over the course of ten weeks. Speakers include executive level managers, directors, and administrators of the department. The program starts on Tuesday, January 30 and ends on Monday, April 1, 2024. Classes are generally held on Tuesdays from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and concludes at a Town Council meeting. Registration is free and opens on November 1, 2023.
