What Is Street Seal Coating?

Street seal coating is a protective treatment applied to asphalt pavement to extend its life, improve its appearance, and help prevent damage caused by weather, water, and chemicals such as oil or gasoline. The process adds a thin, durable layer—usually a black asphalt-based liquid—that is sprayed or brushed onto the roadway.

Road Access During Construction

Residents should expect intermittent road closures and limited access while crews are working. Because the streets in this neighborhood are narrow, access options are extremely limited.

Example:

If you have an appointment at 11:00 a.m., you should plan to leave home by 7:00 a.m., as vehicles will not be able to travel through the work zone once work begins.

We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work to improve and preserve our roadways.
