Making Payments
Once you have entered a plea, or have been found guilty or responsible for a violation, you have an obligation to pay your fines on the date of sentencing. When you plead "Guilty" or "No Contest" to criminal violations or "Responsible" in civil matters charged against you, you must make full payment for all fines/sanctions owed.
All fines, sanctions, fees, and restitution are due in full on the day of sentencing.
Calculate What You Owe
To calculate the total amount due on a civil citation, refer to the Bond Schedule (PDF). Add the fine for each violation on the citation. If you are not sure of the violation charged, or the fine due, you may come to the Court or contact the court at 928-668-0515 or 928-668-0533, Monday through Thursday, 7 am to 6 pm. To allow for data entry, please wait at least one week after the violation date before calling the court.

- The State of Arizona mandates an additional $20 time payment fee be assessed when a fine is not paid in full at the time of adjudication. (A.R.S. 12-116) If you do not pay in full, or report to the Deputy Court Clerk on the day of sentencing, the court will:
- Order you to appear in Court to explain your failure to comply with Court Orders to pay (for criminal and criminal traffic cases only). If any of your charges are classified as criminal or criminal traffic, and you fail to obey orders to pay, a warrant may be issued for your arrest.
- Add a $50.00 default fee to your case for any civil traffic charges. The Court will also notify the State Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) of the default and MVD might place a suspension on your driving privilege.
Driving on a suspended license is a criminal offense that may result in your arrest.

- Refer your case to a collection agency, which will add additional fees to the balance owed.
