How Do I Get a Library Card?

Library cards are issued free of charge to all Wickenburg residents, all Maricopa County residents, all teachers of the Wickenburg Unified School District, and to all actively enrolled students attending school within Maricopa County. Free library cards expire after one year of inactivity.

Adults: Please bring in a photo ID and proof of address.

Minors (17 and younger): The minor, plus a parent or guardian, must come in together. The adult must have a current library card. 

Snowbird or Non-Resident Library Cards: Temporary library cards may be purchased with a photo I.D at the following rates:

• $5.00 = 1 month
• $15.00 = 6 months
• $30.00 = 1 year

Do you Accept Books and Other Donations?

Donations are accepted inside the Wickenburg Library during library hours. We accept donations of hardback and paperback books, children's books, cookbooks, DVDS, and popular magazines less than a year old. We regret we cannot accept materials that are textbooks, damaged, smoke filled, and/or missing covers.

How do I suggest a Purchase

Your suggestions for the Library's collection are welcomed. To begin, search the Library Catalog for the item. If you cannot locate the item, please complete and submit the Recommend a Purchase form. Purchasing decisions are based on the Library's Collection Development Policy. Recommendations to purchase do not guarantee an item will be purchased. 

How do I Reserve the Conference Room?

To reserve the conference room, and to check for availability, please contact the library manager by emailing sbrown@wickenburgaz.gov or by calling (928) 668-0552. 

Rental fee for the library conference room is as follows:

• Commercial Use: $25 per hour
• Non-Commercial Use: No fee

Volunteer and Make a Difference!

Our volunteers are a vital part of our library.

Volunteers assist in a variety of areas and duties including:

• Programming
• Tutoring (children and adult)
• Shelving
