How soon will I find out my status once I have applied?: All applicants selected for a personal interview will be contacted by phone or email. All applicants will receive notification following the selection and acceptance of a new employee. This process can take up to four weeks. Police applications may take longer to process.

3. Do I need to complete a separate application for each job I want to apply for?: Yes, a new application is required for each employment opportunity. Photocopies are accepted if each application has an original signature.

4. Can I apply for a position any time I wish?: No, the Town of Wickenburg only accepts applications for open positions listed on our website.

5. Is there a different application for police officers and dispatch applicants?: Yes, police officers and dispatchers must complete the Town of Wickenburg application, Police Department background questionnaire and Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board application (AZPOST). 6. How will I know what jobs I'm qualified for?: A job description will be posted on the website with the specific requirements. These job descriptions are also available at Town Hall and are provided with the applications.

7. If I've previously completed an application, will I automatically be considered for other positions?: No, you must submit a separate application for all positions you are interested in. If a position opens up within a year of the original opening, you can call (928) 684-5451 x1508 to request your application be considered in this round of applications.

8. Can I just submit a resume instead of filling in the employment history on the application?: No, generally the resume does not address all the information requested on the application.

9. Do you accept faxed or emailed applications?: Yes.

10. What should I do if my address or phone number changes?: Contact the Human Resources Department at (928) 684-5451 x1508 with your new information.
